First Day of Fasting

Today makes my first day of fasting, on the 'Daniel Fast'. I went to the grocery store and got all my fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. I will be fasting for 3 days and praying. I will be praying for health restoration in my body, to remove all diseases and illnesses that are not of GOD. In some cases, not only do you have to pray, but you have to fast as well, for a breakthrough to happen in your life. The bible talks about some situations requiring fasting and prayer.

Matthew 17:20-21
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Get Your Prayers Answered By Fasting

'The Daniel Fast' stems from the book of Daniel in bible, which represents Daniel's spiritual walk in Christ with fasting. This fasting only allows water, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, and nuts & seeds. The key is to make sure you are praying during your fast. They say, fasting without praying is starvation. Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

Daniel 10:2-3
In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

One Way You Can Honor JESUS Everyday

Honor Jesus everyday by doing something for someone else. Be a blessing to your fellow neighbor. Give a homeless person some spare change. Buy someone a cup of coffee. Tell someone dear to your heart that you love them. Forgive someone for what they did whether they were right or wrong. Call a family member that you haven't spoke to in a while, just to see how they are doing. Do something nice for someone you know or don't know. Loving your neighbor is ranked high in the list of GOD's commandments. Let's honor JESUS by honoring our neighbor. CYB 4-8-2019
