What If They Don't Accept Your Apology?

What if you apologize to someone and they don't except it? Then, you pray for them. You can't control or change people, you only have control over your own actions. You are accountable for your own behavior, let GOD deal with the person who doesn't accept your apology. 1-31-2019

Matthew 6:14 & 15
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Are You Forgiving People Who Done You Wrong?

Do you forgive someone who intended to cause you harm; either physically, mentally, or spiritually? Have you ever been in a disagreement with someone, even a family member, when you knew you were right and they were wrong? The bible teaches us to forgive our neighbor whether they are right or wrong. You have to be the bigger person by apologizing whether they except your apology or not. The goal is to rid yourself of any type of unforgiving spirit in your heart. Free yourself from holding grudges, and forgive others for mainly your sake and not others. 1-30-2019

Matthew 6:14 & 15
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Stop Trying To Please Everyone

One thing I have learned over the years is that you cannot please everybody. No matter what you do or how hard you try, there will be some people who will simply just dislike you, for no valid reason at all. For example, you could be a trillionaire, and give everyone $100,000; someone will still complain about why they didn't get more. Therefore, I finally realize that, it's better to just be yourself. If there will be people who are going to dislike you no matter what you do, I mind as well be myself, instead of trying to be someone else. It took me a long time to come to that realization. Once you accept that concept, a lot of heavy weight will lift off your shoulders. 1-29-2019

9 Verses On Why You Should Seek Wisdom

Proverbs Chapter 3 verses 13 - 21 explains why we should seek the wisdom of GOD.

13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

2 Tips To Find Your Purpose

1 Focus on GOD by praying multiple times a day
2 Focus on GOD's word by reading the bible daily
Switch your focus from yourself to the LORD and His greatness, joyfulness, and wonderful works. Do things such as, giving back to others, praying for others, loving others, and forgiving others, as doing unto the LORD, and you shall discover your purpose. 1-26-2019

Matthew 16:25

Proverbs 3 Correction

Sometimes the LORD has to correct us when we make a mistake, do something wrong, or commit a sin. It's because He loves us, and we have to learn from our mistakes. If He is not correcting us, then we need to worry. The same way you discipline your kids when they make mistakes, it's because you love them. It's like watching your kid get into trouble or do something they shouldn't be doing; would you speak up and say, "Don't do that!", or would you just look the other way like you don't care? 1-25-2019

Proverbs 3:11 & 12
11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Bible Study: Ask - The LORD Shall Grant

This week at bible study, the pastor had a guess speaker who preached about being specific, open, and honest, when asking GOD for something; and the LORD shall grant your request. 1-24-2019

1 Chronicles 4:9 & 10
9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Proverbs Chapter 3 Give Him Praise / Find Your Path

It was the LORD who woke us up this morning. It's because of the LORD we are even here to see another day. Let's thank him for all our accomplishments, big or small. There are a million things we can be thankful for, as simple as making it to work safely or having food to eat for lunch. These are opportunities for us to acknowledge him, and therefore He should direct our paths. All we have to do is follow. 1-23-2019

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs Chapter 3 Trust

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding

Have you ever seen a movie where the main character was clueless of what was going on, but you as a viewer know exactly what's going on? We say things like, "Don't open that door!" or "Don't go into that room!" This is because we get to see scenes of the movie that the main character can't see. All the main character can do is make choices based on what's right in front of him. However, you can see the big picture, and every other sub-character's scene in the movie. Sometimes we can see the moments in the movie right before the main character make a huge mistake, make a wrong decision, or give up on something worth pursuing. This is a example of how I believe GOD see's our lives. GOD is the viewer, except he wrote the entire movie, therefore, knows everything that is going to happen and you are the main character. We need to stop, only looking at what we can see around us and look at things from the LORD's point of view. Therefore, we will be able to make better choices and decisions. 1-22-2019

Proverbs Chapter 3 Live Long

Verses (KJV)
1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

According to GOD's word, I plan to be obedient so I can live a long healthy life of peace. Because He is the truth and cannot tell a lie, He is unchanging, dependable, and reliable. The only one you can truly count on. I plan to take His word to the bank and cash it. 1-21-19

If I Can Only Imagine

I saw the movie 'If I Can Only Imagine' for the first time yesterday and I was in tears. This movie had so many powerful biblical lessons in it, I just couldn't hold back the tears. Being that it was based on a true story, seeing how GOD was moving in the main character's life was unreal. They said that this movie, released in March 16, 2018 was a massive box office success, grossing $85 million worldwide against a production budget of $7 million, becoming the fourth highest-grossing music biopic of all-time in the United States. And that the song was the best-selling Christian single of all time. One of the most meaningful phrases of the movie that really struck home for me was, "better late than never", you would have to see it to know what I'm talking about. 1-20-19

2 Things You Can Do To Change Your Situation part 4

In summary, change yourself, then pray for your situation. It has to be in that order though. If you don't change yourself, changes are not as good as it can be, for GOD to change your situation. But, if you say, 'LORD, I'm going to be obedient and change myself to be more like you', and I pray LORD, 'can you lay your hand on my situation'. The LORD will certainly come through according to his word. 1-19-2019

2 Things You Can Do To Change Your Situation part 3

The second thing you need to do is pray. Pray to GOD that he changes your situation. You have control over yourself, but you don't have control over other people. This is where the LORD comes in, it's nothing to big, that the LORD can't handle. 1-18-2019

Here are some ways you can change yourself to potentially change your situation.
Don't let yourself get upset and try to remain calm.
Don't complain about your situation.
Don't argue, get an attitude, or raise your voice.
Refrain from any type of fighting or aggressiveness.
Stay positive and don't worry about things you do not have control over.

2 Things You Can Do To Change Your Situation part 1

The first thing you can do to change your situation is change yourself. One thing you do have control over is yourself. Change your view point or perspective on the situation. Change the way you respond to the situation by changing your actions, such as what you say and how you act. Try to think about, how Jesus would act in that situation. If you are not sure how Jesus would act in that situation, then, you should read your bible, preferably the new Testament. You would be surprise, how you can influence the people around you, when they see how you respond to your current situation. 1-16-19

Honor The LORD With Your Finances

Put money aside every pay check, to do something good with it.
Have a opportunity ever came your way that cost a lot of money and you didn't have the funds to pay for it? Well, don't let that happen to you this year. Go above and beyond your routine savings that may go into your savings account, money market, IRA etc, and put some money aside specifically to do something righteous. This can potentially open more doors for opportunities that may arise, and can even put you in a better position to do what ever GOD has called you to do. 1-15-19

Don't Fight Against Your Enemies

Don't argue with them. Don't cause them harm. Don't worry yourself about them. Let the LORD deal with them. If the LORD is with you, who shall be against you? 1-14-19

Psalms chapter 35
1 Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

Get Out Your Comfort Zone - Overcoming Stage Fright

I always felt comfortable being in the background or being behind the scenes. In places like auditoriums, or even church, I always prefer to sit in the back, where I feel comfortable. But, I believe GOD spoke to me in my spirit, and said, "in order for me to grow or become better, I had to put myself out there, and acknowledge him publicly. So, being that I'm not big on social media at the moment, I decided to create a blog called "Diary of a Christian", that I plan to write to daily, and develop a YouTube channel. In order to grow to your full potential, you will likely have to get out of your comfort zone and be uncomfortable. Therefore, I want to be obedient to what I believe the LORD is calling me to do, thus, "Diary of a Christian" was born. 1-13-19

A Tip For A Better Prayer Life

Get a box, can be any type of box, maybe a shoe box. Cut a slit into the top of the box big enough to put folded papers in. Make sure you seal the box so you can't get inside. If you buy a box, make sure you lock it. Write your prayers down on a sheet of paper, fold up the papers, then put them in the box. Never go in the box. Lastly, apply your faith, that your prayers will be answered. 1-11-2019

Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Gospel Beats Health Tip

One of the major downsides of buying produce is trying to eat it all before it goes bad. One thing you can do to help it last longer is to add a slice of lemon to your container that have the produce. If you prepare salads in advance for lunch, you can squeeze some lemon juice on your salads to help it stay fresh longer. 1-10-19

1 Corinthians ch.6 verse 19 and 20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

This Tip Can Help You Meet Your Goals this Year

I know it sounds simple and easy to do, but you would be surprised of how many people don't do this simple little trick. Write your goals down on a sheet of paper. Post it on a wall in your bedroom or a room that you visit often on a daily basis. That way you can see your goals on a daily basis to help motivate you to do it. It helps keep you focus and on track, as a constant reminder that you need to get it done. As you complete your goals, check them off the list. Give it a try, and see if it works for you. 1-9-19

Habakkuk 2:2-3
2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Everything Happens for a Reason

Everything happens for a reason. Everything has a time and a season and GOD's always in control. GOD allow things to happen, but in the end, it's all for the greater good. We may not be able to see it, or understand it from our perspective, because GOD's wisdom greatly supersedes ours. Sometimes tragedy can make us stronger, help us avoid a greater tragedy down the road, or even put us in a position to help others. We have to trust in him, have faith, and don't let situations or events heavily consume us, especially the ones we have no control over. 1-8-19

My New Year's Resolution

One of my new year's resolution for 2019 is to read one book a month. And not just any book, but a book that's going to increase my knowledge and potentially make me a better person. A friend of mine told me he have been reading one book a month for about 3 years now. Then, the following Sunday at church, my pastor was talking about reading one book a month this year. So, I figured that had to have been GOD speaking to me. By the end of the year, I should have read a minimum of 12 books total. By 2020, I should be a little smarter than I was in 2019. 1-7-19

One of the Best Bible Verses on Giving

When you give, help others, or do any other Godly act, be humble, don't look for any recognition or a thank you in return. Do it from the kindness of your heart, even if no one knows you did it for them. GOD knows, and will bless you abundantly. 1-6-19

Matthew 6:1-4
1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

Stop Fighting Impossible Battles

Let Jesus do the fighting for you. We can't change people, we can only change ourselves. All we can do is pray for them. You would be surprised on how you can impact other people or your situation by changing your own behavior and thoughts. I learned that by watching the movie "War Room". 1-5-19

Do You Get Depress Sometimes?

Just when I thought I had it bad health wise, I heard someone else testimony on how they had 3 surgery's in one year. After hearing that, my problems or health issues didn't seem so bad. It's amazing sometimes how we get down about things going on in our lives, until we hear about someone who have it way worst than we do, and they aren't even complaining. 1-4-2019

Making a Difference in 2019?

Are You Fasting in 2019?

Things such as watching your favorite TV show or movie, reading your
favorite book, listening to your favorite music, engaging in social media,
etc, can be things that we do on a regular basis for our own personal
entertainment that don't necessarily involve glorifying the LORD. To
maintain a healthy relationship with the father, it is sometimes good to
fast from these activities from time to time, just to show our love for the
father, and to help prevent us from becoming addicted or dependent on these
type of activities that do not add any value to our walk in Christ. For
example, something simple as a 30 day fast from TV or social media can help
promote a healthy lifestyle. 1-2-2019
